The Dog Park
Our park boasts 10,000 square feet of fully fenced-in space for your dog to run, play, and be wildly free. To ensure maximum adventure, we have provided a mixed terrain of mulch, grass, and native fescue, and an array of natural climbing structures. Our team of Rovers are on staff to provide additional supervision and peace of mind.
why membership?
We believe in providing you and your pups with the best experience possible. We provide a large, fully protected, and well-maintained natural playground, and staff Rovers to make sure the dogs are all playing nicely. We require all dogs to have up to date immunization records on file and be spayed or neutered. We also provide access to our self-service pet wash station at no additional charge. A membership fee helps us create and maintain a happy, healthy environment for your pup.
Memberships are required for dogs only. Humans without dogs are welcome to enjoy the café and surrounding green space, no commitment required!

For the safety of children and dogs alike, guests must be aged 16+ to be granted entry into the park. All ages are warmly welcome on our on-leash patio, with the understanding that children are the responsibility of their supervising adult. It is important that children who come to The Yard are at ease around pets and understand the importance of not startling them with loud noises, sudden movements, or unwelcome touches. We appreciate your cooperation in making our park a happy and safe space for everyone!

In compliance with North Carolina law, it's mandatory for all dogs to have a current rabies vaccination. Furthermore, we also require documented proof of immunization for Distemper/Parvo, Bordatella, and Leptospirosis. We accept titer test results as evidence of immunity for all vaccinations except for rabies. These vaccination requirements are applicable to all dogs, whether you're a member or just visiting for the day. You can upload the relevant documents to your member portal, or if you're purchasing a day pass on site, please be prepared to show digital copies of these documents. Remember, your dog must have these documents verified before being allowed entry into the park.

We require that all dogs above 6 months of age be spayed/neutered as a condition of entry into the park. This policy is in place to help prevent aggressive behaviors often associated with intact animals, such as dominance challenges, territoriality, and unwanted mating behavior. We appreciate your cooperation.

No puppies under the age of 4 months are allowed in the park. Guests are welcome to socialize their leashed and supervised puppies on our patio area and surrounding green space. You will not need to purchase a membership for your puppy until they meet the eligible age requirement for park access.
