DOG PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS

  • With the exception of seasonal and weather-related fluctuations, the Dog Park is open from 7am to 7pm. No usage is permitted outside of these hours.

  • For our children’s safety, guests must be aged 16+ to be granted entry into the dog park. All ages are welcome on the on-leash patio. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • All dogs must be spayed or neutered. 

  • No puppies under 4 months of age are allowed in the park. You are invited to socialize your leashed and supervised puppies on and around the patio area.

  • No animals other than dogs are allowed in the park.

  • All dogs must be in good health with no injuries, fleas, ticks, or parasites.

  • Per North Carolina law, we require proof of current vaccination against rabies. We require proof of immunization against Parvo Virus, Distemper, Bordatella, and Leptospirosis. We accept titer results in lieu of vaccinations, except for rabies.

  • All dogs must be leashed until safely inside the bullpen and returned to a leash prior to exiting.

  • All leashes, choke chains, prong collars, head collars, and e-collars must be removed prior to entering the off-leash area.

  • Absolutely NO human food, dog food, treats, toys, or chews allowed.

  • All dogs in the park must wear a collar displaying current tags with name and contact info.

  • Our Rovers are here to provide supplemental supervision and peace of mind as a courtesy to our customers. However, owners are still responsible for their dog’s behavior. Please be attentive. 

  • You may not leave your dog unattended at the park. If you are seen leaving the premises without your dog, membership may be revoked without a refund at management discretion. 

  • Respect our Rovers. If asked to separate your dog, leash your dog, or remove your dog, kindly do so quickly. Ignoring a Rover’s request may lead to removal from the park by Yard management.

  • Rovers may separate dogs, redirect them to more suitable play, or physically remove them from the premises.

  • Kindly clean up after your dog. Bags and receptacles are provided.

  • Dogs known to be aggressive are not allowed in the park. Dogs who display any type of aggressive patterns of behavior will be removed from the premises. 

  • A dog being removed multiple times may result in membership suspension pending resolution of any causal behavioral issues. Owners may not be entitled to a refund.

  • No smoking or vaping allowed anywhere on the premises.

  • Dogs must be on-leash on the patio.

  • Spectators should remain outside the fenced dog park area.

The rules and regulations are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in temporary or permanent expulsion from the Dog Park. Remember: Every dog is the responsibility of its owner/handler. Always be respectful and courteous to fellow park users. Remember to have fun!
